In 1992, Robert and Grace Leeuwe immigrated from Holland to Aruba with one goal in mind: to start their own watersports company on the island of Aruba, with unique, personalized service!
Delphi Watersports started out with the rental of Aqua scooters on the beach in front of the Hyatt Regency. In 1994, we bought our first trimaran, named Starfish, and we started offering snorkeling and sunset cruises. Due to high demand, we bought our second trimaran, Three’s Company, which enabled us to serve smaller, private groups!
Shortly after, we bought our first speedboat, Wild Thing, in order to expand our activities with tube rides, banana boat rides, wakeboarding, waterskiing, and private boat rides. During the next years, we added several boats to our fleet, including Speedy Gonzalez, and the speedboat, Larisa.
In 2005, we introduced our new pride, the 45′ catamaran, Dolphin, which we sailed from Galveston, Texas to Aruba. Over the past years, Delphi has been proud to serve thousands of satisfied tourists and has become increasingly popular because of our personalized service and family atmosphere.
